ভগবদ গীতার তৃতীয় অধ্যায়ের ৩৫নাম্বার শ্লোক ,যার বাংলা অর্থ হলো---

স্বধর্মের অনুষ্ঠান দোষযুক্ত হলেও উত্তমরূপে অনুষ্ঠিত পরধর্ম থেকে উৎকৃষ্ট। স্বধর্ম সাধনে যদি মৃত্যু হয়, তাও মঙ্গলজনক, কিন্তু অন্যের ধর্মের অনুষ্ঠান করা বিপজ্জনক।

আমি গীতার ব্যখ্যায় যাচ্ছিনা, তবে আমি আমাদের জীবনের সাথে কথা রেখে একটা বলতে চাই, "নিজের বুদ্ধিতে ফকির হওয়াও ভালো"

কোন বই হাতে নিলে আমাদের প্রথমত মনে প্রশ্ন আসে,এই বইটি আসলে কাদের জন্য?

তো এই বইয়ের বিষয়ে বললে আমি বলবো, বইটি এমন একটি ভাষায় রচিত যা প্রাথমিক স্তরের পাঠক সহজেই বুঝতে পারবেন। তবে বইটিতে অনেক বিশদ এবং গভীরভাবে  সকল টপিক রয়েছে যা কিনা নতুন পাঠকদের পড়ার ক্ষেত্রে একটু সময় সাপেক্ষ হবে, যেমন টা আমি নিজে ফেস করেছি আর কি।

তো এখন আমি লেখক জয় শেঠি সম্পর্কে কিছু বলতে চাই, উনি মূলত ব্রিটিশ বা লন্ডন বা যুক্তরাজ্যে বসবাস করেন। তিনি একজন লেখক,ব্লগার, মোটিভেশনাল স্পীকার।যিনি ইউটিউবে প্রতি সপ্তাহেই আত্নোউন্নয়নমূলক ভিডিও আপলোড করেন। তার ইউটিউবের বেশিরভাগ ভিডিওই হচ্ছে কিভাবে মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য, সম্পর্ক , জীবনের উদ্দ্যেশ্য এসব নিয়ে। ও হ্যাঁ তিনি একজন সন্ন্যাসীও তিনি ৩বছর সন্ন্যাসী হিসেবেও জীবন কাটান। 

যাইহোক,এবার মেইন টপিকে আসি। আমার এই বইটির নাম হচ্ছে Think Like a Monk: Train Your Mind for Peace and Purpose Every Day অর্থাৎ, একজন সন্ন্যাসীর মতো চিন্তা করুন: আপনার মনকে শান্তির জন্য এবং ভালো উদ্দেশ্যে প্রতিদিন প্রশিক্ষণ দিন।

এটি এমন একটি বই যা আপনার মনকে বর্তমানের চেয়েও আরো শান্তিপূর্ণ,ইতিবাচক এবং উদ্দ্যেশ্যমূলক জীবনযাপন করতে সাহায্য করবে। মানে আবার কেউ এটা ভাববেন না যে, এই কথাগুলোর মাধ্যমে আমি এটা বুঝাচ্ছি যে এই বইটা পড়লে আপনি রাতারাতি কোন মিরাকেলের মুখোমুখি হবেন।

বইটিকে তিনটি ভাগে ভাগ করা হয়েছে যেগুলো হচ্ছে- Let go, Grow and Give.

"If you fall in LOVE too fast"

Don't fall in love too fast because the truth is when you fall in love too fast it does not love.

 Let me explain, nothing good in our lives ever comes from falling they say love is blind because the only time we fall is when we're blinded .when you fall in love too fast, you think you know their dreams but you just know their plans. You think you know their heart, but you just know their mind.

You think you know their past, but you just know parts.

Let the right person show you that they're the right person.

Don't simply give away your trust, let any person earn it. 

I know what it's like, it feels amazing to fall for someone quickly that adrenaline rush. But why would you want to fall for someone you don't know is going to be there to catch you? We don't just find a huge tree with beautiful fruits and flowers overnight. It takes time. No matter how much you water it, it takes time. No matter how much sunlight, you give it .it takes time. No tree overnight has the most beautiful flowers and fruits and so, neither can a relationship. It takes time .because remember, you can't eat the food the same day you plant the seed .and on the flip side, don't make someone fall in love with you if you to love them. Because guess what they won't end up questioning you- they'll end up questioning love. And I'm trying to say this for your own benefit. I want you to have incredible, meaningful, purposeful relationships. But I want them to be real, I favor them to be genuine. Because being in love isn't a mood, it is a dedication even after your temper changes and you do not figure that one month.

If you're about to BREAK UP

Trust is an expensive gift which we never expect from cheap people. Love dies because of fear. It's normal to be scared of losing your partner. But in the process of being scared of losing your partner, you end up doing irrational things trying to keep them close.  We get so fixated so focused on this person who creates all those feelings all of those emotions of pain at the moment our love died but we miss the lessons. The lesson that is a fear, The lesson that is there are a misscommunication.
If you love died, find your answer in these. It will give you answer closely that the person may not be able to provide. More importantly, It will give you the courage to go forward with more strength.

Letting down your parents?

We waste so many years studying something we don't care about because we care so much about those who care for us. But the challenge is our focus is fueled more by guilt than gratitude.

Our motivation is not a powerful future but actually, fear. Nothing, I mean nothing that is completed out of the intention of fear can lead to fulfillment. Our parents have sacrificed so much to get to where they are but why we are sacrificing Where we can go?

They've worked so hard to move us forward.

Why are we choosing to step backward?

And remember, we can't make anyone proud if we lose pride in what we're doing.

There's no chance we can make happy anyone happy if we're unhappy ourselves.

We think giving up on their dream will let them down, not realizing what giving up on our dreams does to us.

our parents would always want what's good for us but if we think we know what's better for us.

Don't let years go by and carry that inside yourself. We can't spend the rest of our life being tested on what we don't love.

And remember, if we don't choose to pursue our passion, we'll probably live in regret.
